There are plenty of activities that you can do while spending time out in the mountains on a camping trip. A great, inexpensive way to enjoy nature is to go for a hike. One thing that I like to do while I’m camping in a large group is take some time for myself and go on a short hike. Whether I follow a trail, climb to the top of the nearest hill, or just go upstream, it’s always best to have the correct footwear. I have a pair of Merrell hiking shoes that I picked up a few years back and they are great. Merrells are a great breathable lightweight hiking shoe and are very comfortable.
Details of Merrell Hiking Shoes
My Merrell hiking shoes are made using water-resistant leather and mesh featuring a rubber toe bumper and heel counter. This not only makes them very durable but adds extra support in crucial areas. They are not the best in wet weather for staying dry but, with their Vibram sole, they are able to keep a consistent grip, which to me is more important.
If you take good care of your hiking shoes you’ll get a long life out of them. Washing is easy, when mine get really muddy I just spray them off with a garden hose when I get home and let them air dry.
Merrell makes hiking shoes and boots for men and women in most sizes so you shouldn’t have trouble finding a pair. They are not too crazy when it comes to price. Depending on the style you go with, you’re looking at around $100. They are a great breathable lightweight hiking shoe and are very comfortable.
As a teenager, I spent much of my free time hiking around the lake with my friends. We explored anywhere we hadn’t been yet. Every time I have the opportunity to go back out the Pacific Northwest I bring my hiking shoes and on the last day that I’m in town I get together with my cousin and we go back out to the lake to do some hiking.
I want to hear from you
